Job description

The worker will assist in seasonal grain farming operations on a 3,000-acre crop farm producing corn, soybeans, and wheat. Core
duties include operating tractors with grain carts, combines, and driving farm trucks (local routes only—CDL not required) to haul grain
from the field to on-farm storage or nearby elevators. The worker may also perform basic maintenance on machinery, including oil and
filter changes, and may occasionally assist with hog chores, such as checking feeders and water systems in confinement barns.
Additional tasks may include planting, tillage, harvesting, pesticide application, auger setup, irrigation support, crop scouting, and basic
welding or fabrication work. Equipment used includes John Deere and Case models with GPS and AutoSteer systems.
The role demands physical labor in varying weather conditions, with extended work hours during peak seasons.
Termination for Cause:
Workers may be terminated for cause following a progressive disciplinary process: (1) verbal warning, (2) written warning, and (3) final
warning. Immediate termination may occur for serious infractions including willful damage to equipment, insubordination, substance
abuse, unsafe practices, or dishonesty. All termination procedures will comply with 20 CFR 655.122(n), ensuring fair documentation
and compliance with H-2A regulations.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme
temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other
benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
