Job description
Worker activities include greenhouse planting/production, greenhouse packaging, greenhouse watering, loading and unloading of product off rack. Worker must be able to lift 50lbs, and have 3 months experience in greenhouse/nursery production. Workers will perform manual labor to plant, cultivate, and harvest field crops. Workers will also perform skilled tasks associated with the propagation of plants through cuttings, including preparation, planting, and maintenance to ensure healthy plant development in a greenhouse/ nursery setting. A worker can earn between $18.15 and $20.00/hour depending on merit, experience and if bonuses are earned. Pay scale and bonuses are based on performance and are at the sole discretion of the employer.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
