Job description
Operate tractors to pack the silage and hay piles from the fall harvest. Operate tractors to unload and stack straw bales on site. Liquid manure application by the use of tractors and manure hose within harvested fields of a 5 mile radius of the worksite. Minimal driving of equipment on community roads is required. Dry solids manure application by the use of payloaders and tractors with spreader attachments. Drive truck to transport dry solids to fields. May have to work nights, possibly weekends. Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. Maintaining of worksite and equipment. Cleaning location and equipment. Rate of pay may be more depending on experience.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
