Job description

Assist with the daily care, feeding, processing, and barn upkeep of swine at unit to ensure welfare and well-being of the animals. Drive truck to haul swine on the farm from the nursery to the finishing site and from the finishing site to be harvested. Adhere to all bio-security protocols and give input on areas out of compliance.

The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., with potential nights and weekends required depending on the assigned hog unit and department (i.e., breeders work on Sunday so farrowing happens during the week).

Special Requirements

With respect to the job-related reason for the Driver Requirements, in order to perform the driving job duties set forth in Section A.8.a of the Form ETA-790A, the person in the position must possess a license authorizing the operation of farm husbandry equipment, in accordance with Nebraska law.
