Job description
On farms, build, repair, and remodel livestock and/or poultry confinement structures. Erect walls and trusses, install and repair feeders, and help assemble feed lines, if needed. Sheet roof, walls, and repair ceilings. Workers wil work on their feet, on bent, stooped, and crouched positions. Workers will be expected to handle power tools and basic hand tools such as cordless drills, impact wrenches, hammer drills, hammers, pliers, wrenches tools needed for the installation of equipment in the barns. Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, push, pull, operate hand tools, work in temperature extremes for extended periods of time. Must be able to tolerate the strong odor from livestock present on the farm. Worker will clean site. Please see ETA 790 Addendum for additional detail/specifics.
Special Requirements
One (1) month of farm construction experience is required. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs for 75 yards.
