Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties under SOC Code 45-2092 such as: Repair and maintain farm buildings and equipment; Irrigate crops; Operate machinery to till and fertilize soil, and to plant and harvest crops; Perform field maintenance; Remove weeds in fields; Wash and package crops; Fill carrot crates; Load and unload trucks with carrots for delivery; Clean work areas; Move materials to condition soil; Attach equipment using hand tools; Drive farm vehicles, minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
