Job description

Operate farm machinery such as tractors, skid steers, back hoes, loading augers, and conveyors, as well as additional equipment required to perform farm activities including planting, seeding, cultivation, rock clearing, and harvesting. Workers will drive tractors equipped with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, planters, drills, disks, drags and various types of field equipment to furrow and prepare the soil, seed, fertilize, and harvest. They will also haul materials, supplies, or crops to designated locations. Routine maintenance will be performed on all equipment, as well as on the grounds, yards, buildings, grain bins, fences, and other structures.Farming with: Corn, Hay, Soy Beans

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children and expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
