Spa Therapist

Job description

Spa Therapists will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of the spa facility. This includes greeting guests promptly, confirming treatments, and providing professional, relaxed service. Spa Therapists will adhere to all massage licensing requirements, including sanitation and hygiene standards, and comply with local regulations. Duties also include setting up, utilizing, and cleaning equipment in treatment rooms, breaking down and resetting rooms for the next appointment. Spa Therapists will ensure all items are returned to their designated storage areas, and maintain a clean and organized environment, including staff setup, back-of-house areas, relaxation lounges, and locker rooms. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and occupationally lift or move more than 100 pounds.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:00am to 4:00pm, or 1:00pm to 9:00pm. Shift hours may vary

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.

Massage therapy License and/or esthetician license required.
