Job description

Seventeen temporary full-time Ground Person positions available for work beginning October 1, 2025 and continuing through April 30, 2026, with standard day shift of forty hours work provided weekly: Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, at $21.07 per hour, with overtime offered often at $31.61. No previous training, experience, or education required, nor on-the-job training, as clear and simple instructions are given onsite by supervising crew leaders.

Ground Persons perform ground-level pruning and trimming, also collecting and hauling out debris, as well as chipping and mulching, and applying fertilizer.

Ground Persons help collect debris and branches from winter storm damage.

Ground Persons also weed, rake, dig, plant, and water.

Ground Persons support our arborists and diagnosticians through ground-support duties.

The position is entry-level and non-agricultural. Ground Persons attend a daily Safety Briefing.
