Forestry Worker

Job description

Job duties include: sorting seedlings; preparing soil for tree planting; use hand tools; hand planting seedlings; assist with operating a machine planter which may include loading trees and following the machine to check trees planted; load seedlings at the nursery to facilitate seedlings being available at the jobsite; weedeating; erosion control; hand spray, inject, or cut trees, brush, and weeds with spray equipment, tree injector tools, or brush saw

Fields and work locations will be located in the following counties:
ARKANSAS: Bradley, Cleveland, Union, Dallas, Ashley, Drew, and Jefferson
NORTH CAROLINA: Caldwell
Tennessee: Shelby

Special Requirements

Must be able to walk long distances, lift at least 50 pounds, work outside in extreme temperatures, perform duties that require repeated bending, squatting.

May be subject to drug screen after hire paid for by employer if reasonable suspicions arise during employment. This is a drug free work zone. Testing positive or failure to comply with a drug screen will result in termination for cause.
