Farm Worker

Job description

Workers will perform a variety of general farm tasks, including cleaning the shop, storage bin sites, and other agricultural buildings. They will haul crops and other agricultural products, including transporting corn to on-farm grain bins. Workers will assist with planting, harvesting, and routine maintenance of equipment, as well as support general farm operations.

Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds for a distance of 75 yards. The work environment is a drug- and alcohol-free zone, and workers may be required to take a random drug test after hire at no cost to them. Additionally, workers are required to have a valid Class C driver’s license to operate provided transportation between off-site fields, farm sites, and worker housing.

During peak periods, workers will be expected to work extended hours, typically Monday through Saturday, with schedules varying depending on weather conditions and workload. The job requires physical stamina, the ability to operate agricultural machinery, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Special Requirements
