Job description
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as moving hay; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Attend to live farm animals including cattle such as feeding, watering, doctoring, breeding; Perform duties related to calving; Monitor cows for birthing issues; Check calf health daily; Repair and maintain corrals, water and feed equipment; Sort cattle and haul cattle to pastures; Repair, maintain, fashion farm structures such as fences; Attach implements using hand tools.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
