Dishwasher

Job description

Dishwashers will be responsible for washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in clean condition, monitoring the Dishwasher temperature, placing clean dishware in appropriate kitchen area, sweeping and scrubbing floors, preparing (without cooking) various foods to be cooked or served, and sorting and removing trash. Dishwashers also will be responsible for setting up three (3) compartment sinks, conducting inventory of the China and silver, and reporting any unsafe kitchen conditions to Supervisor. Must have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm, or 8:00am - 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
