Services for wild game season slaughter are needed Oct 1 June 1.
After receipt of wild game carcass/trim, trim and freeze occurs due to peak-load influx (i.e.
game comes in too fast to process upon receipt). To process wild game peak-load, trim comes
out of the freezer and takes until June to fully process.
The occupation is not year-round because the employer needs to support MN DNR-designated
wild game season which is not year-round. While supporting MN DNR-designated wild game
season, regular year-round beef and pork business is also serviced.

Special Requirements

NO MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION.
MUST BE AT LEAST AGE 18.
MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW WRITTEN AND VERBAL INSTRUCTION FROM SUPERVISOR.
MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM BASIC PHYSICAL MANEUVERS, SOME OF WHICH ARE REPETITIVE, INCLUDING STANDING FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME.
LIFT UP TO 30 POUNDS CONSISTENTLY AND UP TO 75 POUNDS OCCASIONALLY.
