Job description

We have livestock (Cattle, Sheep) Job responsibilities include feeding, watering and rotating animals to new paddocks or pastures. Monitoring the livestock for health reasons. Assisting in other seasonal maintenance including loading animals on trailers for transport to butcher, auction or sale. Work may include monitoring of populations, effective culling of sick animals and establishing forage food plots for grazing. Other livestock tasks may include cleaning meat processing facilities. We also have a wood processing facility on the premises. We process/finish wooden beams (wire brush and color finishing) for sale to builders. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; trap and destroy pests; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle and sheep. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
