Job description

Workers will perform a variety of general farm duties related to grain farming operations including but not limited to:
operating, maintaining, and performing minor repairs on large agricultural equipment such as tractors (≤ and >150hp),
combines, grain carts, planters, air drills, sprayers, and skid steers. Duties include tillage, planting, harvesting,
pesticide/herbicide application, GPS-guided operations, and irrigation setup. Additional responsibilities include grain
handling, auger setup, post-harvest operations, basic electrical troubleshooting, welding, and general farm maintenance.
Workers must follow safety standards and instructions and may be required to assist with livestock if applicable.
Employment is at-will. However, before termination, an escalatory disciplinary process will typically be followed: 1) verbal warning; 2) written warning; and 3) final notice. Termination for cause may result if the employee continues unsatisfactory performance or misconduct following these steps, in line with H-2A regulations and fair employment practices.

Work Schedule:
o Days per Week: 6 (Monday through Saturday)
o Hours per Day: 8 hours
o Daily Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with one hour unpaid lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM)

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
