Job description
Guestroom Attendants will be responsible for preparing the guest rooms for arrival and daytime service by removing dirty towels and sheets and replacing them with clean ones. Guestroom Attendants will also be responsible for making beds in guest rooms, cleaning, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of the guest rooms including bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom. Additional duties include vacuuming the carpets, cleaning marble and tile areas and removing rooms service trays, dishes and carts to service landings. Guestroom Attendants must replace used cups, saucers, spoons and glasses from the minibar with clean china, glasses and cutlery from the room attendant pantry. They must remove garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom. They will submit all maintenance issues in guestrooms, public Areas and back of house areas to the Engineering department through designated work systems and bring them to the attention of the housekeeping management. Guestroom Attendants will add special touches to the guestrooms to enhance the guest experience such as providing guests with microfiber cloth, bookmarks, cable ties. Guestroom Attendants must restock used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, pens and coffee, tea and sugar sachets.
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:30am to 4:30pm, 9:00am to 5:00pm, or 1:00pm to 9:00pm. Shift hours may vary

Special Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
