Job description
Job requires the preparation of shell-stock for shucking by unloading sacks of oysters from transport (sacks of oysters may weigh up to 50 pounds) and loading the oysters onto prep areas in order to cull using a tumbler, wash, shuck by removing/cutting the muscle from the shell, clean the oyster muscle, weigh, pack, label, palletize, and store. Shuckers will maintain a clean work area by re-sacking and discarding empty shells.
Special Requirements
Oysters sacks may weigh up to 50 pounds.
