Job description
Directly coach participants; organize, manage program coaching staff including staff scheduling, performance planning, and evaluations; communicate effectively with parents and athletes; set and maintain courses, closures, and safety measures following standards of US Ski and Snowboard and FIS; ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and stored; conduct video analysis sessions with participants; conduct athlete goal setting meetings regularly; responsible for athlete supervision, team captain's meeting representation, organize team travel arrangements; participate in staff meetings.
Special Requirements
USSA level 200 or Internationally recognized equivalent preferred.
Twenty-four (24) months of Alpine Race coaching experience in an organized ski club program is required.
Applicant must complete pre-employment background check, be able to lift 50 lbs, and speak English. Must be able to stand in ski boots for at least 6 hours in adverse weather conditions.
Following shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work schedule can vary and may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Example shift - 9am to 4pm. shift hours may vary.
Hourly Wage: $21.50 to $28/hr. (based on merit and past experience with our company). Overtime may be available at $32.25 to $42.00/hr.
