Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties including cultivating the soil in connection with raising and harvesting agriculture or horticultural commodities, including the raising, feeding, caring for, management and harvest of livestock and wildlife. Feed and water animals by manually filling feeders and water tanks. Record and maintain information about crops and animals as well as recording wildlife populations and report to biologist/wildlife managers. Operate tractors and tractor drawn machinery to cultivate, plant and harvest crops. Spray pesticide and control vegetation. Direct and monitor human interaction with animals. Assist with locating and harvesting animals, Drive trucks, tractors or other equipment to distribute feed to animals. Hunting/culling and processing wildlife such as skinning, cleaning, quartering - including preparing fresh harvest using multiple cooking methods. Navigate large acre farm in a remote area. Speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
