Job description
*RFI Response
Regarding the job duty "Load/unload concrete and aggregates from truck," we offer the following clarification:
The trucks used have internal controls that allow the driver to monitor and operate the loading and unloading functions. At the plant, dedicated plant workers are responsible for loading the truck with aggregate materials. The Drivers do not handle the materials during this process. Instead, they remain in the truck and monitor the status of the load using in-truck monitoring systems.
Once the truck is loaded, the Drivers transport the materials to the designated job site. Upon arrival, they use the in-truck controls to unload the materials. Again, they do not handle the materials directly. After unloading, on-site workers take over handling and use of the materials.
To confirm, the Drivers are not responsible for operating a concrete pump truck or performing any manual labor related to loading or unloading the materials. Their duties are limited to transportation and operation of the truck’s onboard systems.
