The vehicles used by the workers for snow removal and winter precipitation preparation are all non-commercial class vehicles. These trucks are gas and diesel powered, and range from 3/4 ton to 5500 series trucks outfitted with removable front plows and salt/brine distributors/spreaders. No special drivers’ license is required for these vehicles.

K&S WINTER GROUNDSKEEPING TECHNICIANS WILL USE SNOW SHOVELS, MOTORIZED SNOW BLOWERS, HAND POWERED SNOW DISTRIBUTORS, HAND POWERED ICE MELT DISTRIBUTORS, VEHICLE POWERED SNOW SCRAPERS, AND VEHICLE POWERED ICE MELT DISTRIBUTORS.

Work will generally be performed Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM with 1 hour for lunch, however,
weekends may be required based on weather conditions. Overtime may be available, but is not guaranteed.
**Voluntary low-cost housing is available to workers for the option to board, $250 per month for housing is deducted from
worker's paycheck for workers who choose housing; all utilities paid; housing is not mandatory.

Special Requirements

Random drug screening upon hire (paid for by employer); post-accident drug testing (paid for by employer).
