Job description
Smooth, form, and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools, such as hand and power trowels. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints. Workers with valid U.S. driver’s licenses may operate company vehicles, but driving is not a requirement of all workers in the position.
Special Requirements
Requires three months of concrete masonry experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Post-hire background check required of foreign and domestic workers. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
