Bough Cutters

Job description

Worker will cut Noble branches to appropriate size for wreath making from trees growing in forested areas. Branches will be evaluated to ensure they are suitable for wreath making. Care will be taken to not damage cut branches. Worker will use rubber bands, hand pruners, pole cutters and twine. The
worker will take these bunches to a receiving location, a semi-truck near the worksite. They will need to be able to perform these duties while wearing rain gear.

Workers may also operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach farmer’s worksites); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as-needed basis. Employees that want to be drivers must possess a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record (no major moving violations, such as but not limited to Driving While Intoxicated or Reckless Driving), and pass a drug test. The driver’s license is not a pre-hire job requirement.
