Workers will perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment at ready-mix concrete facilities and worksites located in Shelbina, MO (499 N 4th St, Shelby County). Work is performed outdoors and in equipment yards.
Specific equipment includes:
Electric motors and drives powering conveyor belts, mixers, and aggregate systems
Cement batch plant components (mixers, silos, bins, belts, water systems)
Skid steers, generators, air compressors, and light towers
Routine tasks involve inspecting motors, replacing filters, checking fluid levels, lubricating parts, and diagnosing equipment malfunctions using hand tools and meters.
The duties align with SOC code 49-9071.00 – Maintenance and Repair Workers, General. Work is performed daily on-site. The President will oversee worksite activities.

Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.Respond promptly to maintenance requests, assessing repair needs and determining the necessary tools and materials for completion.Perform general maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive actions. Report issues to supervisors and recommending maintenance solutions. Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and according to company policies and OSHA standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Document work performed and parts used in maintenance logs for accurate records and reporting.
Special Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various conditions, including confined spaces, heights, and different weather environments.
