Holes are normally used in landscaping to plant or replant flowers, bushes, small trees, vines, and other small plants in designated areas, garden beds. The holes are done by hand shovel, hoe, small handheld shovel, the largest tools are shovels 48inches or possibly a posthole digger of the same size, depending on the purpose of the hole for the size of the plant. We use wheelbarrows to transport the soil and the plants.
The hole dimensions:
Depth of 5inches to 20inches
Width of 4-25 inches
We do not use machinery or heavy equipment. The work is manual labor with hand tools.

All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described in this JO/Ad & must be available for entire period specified. DUTIES MAY INCLUDE: DIG HOLES, APPLY BARK, MULCH, RAKE, SWEEP GROUNDS, CLEAN-UP, REMOVE DEBRIS. APPLY PINE STRAW FOR LANDSCAPE TO ENRICH SOIL, PREVENT PLANT DISEASE, EROSION, LOSS OF TOPSOIL, WEED GROWTH, RETAIN CONSISTENT TEMPERATURE FOR PROTECTION. GATHER, BALE, LOAD/UNLOAD, APPLY CUT OPEN PINESTRAW BALES. SPRAY HERBICIDE WITH HAND SPRAYERS & OTHER RELATED LANDSCAPE/GROUNDSKEEPING ACTIVITIES AS PER SOC/OES 37-3011 (ONETONLINE.ORG)
Hrs. 8AM-5PM 35/hrs wk. OJT. No min edu reqd. TRANSPORT PROVIDED DESIGNATED LOCALE TO JOB SITE. BEGIN COLLETON COUNTY, SC CONTINUE INTO MULTIPLE AREAS IN COUNTIES OF CLARENDON, SC AND AREAS OF NE SOUTH CAROLINA NONMETROPOLITAN AREA. Employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, equipment reqd.
OJT, No Minimum education. Tools and equipment provided by employer at no cost to worker. Transport to/from job site provided by employer at no cost to worker and whatever the housing clause is on each individual job posting. The employer’s optional housing is provided at no cost to worker.
Special Requirements
MUST SHOW PROOF OF LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE U.S. DRUG/ALCOHOL/TOBACCO FREE WORK ZONE. MUST BE MIN. 18YEARS OF AGE DUE TO STATE LABOR LAWS. Employer reserves option to provide additional compensation for performance. tenure.
