Boat Attendant

Job description

Boat Attendants will be responsible for activating fuel pumps and filling fuel tanks of boats with gasoline or diesel fuel to specified levels, washing and otherwise cleaning, scrubbing, scraping, or spraying boats and equipment scrapers, brushes, clothes, cleaners, disinfectants, insecticides, acid, abrasives, vacuums, or hoses, gathering and removing trash from boats and marina trashcans, maintaining marina docks, main boardwalk, marina facilities, and equipment, including pressure washing dock and boardwalk areas and removing trash, provisioning, washing, and drying boats and flushing boat engines as part of the launch/haul process, greeting and assisting members with boarding and exiting the boats, returning boats to the marina, unloading boats, and exiting and returning to their vehicles, and assisting with minor marina maintenance and repairs.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of experience at a high-end or high-volume hotel, resort, or private club. New applicants must complete pre-employment drug screening and background check at employers expense.
