Job description
Pool Attendants will be responsible for monitoring activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures, providing information about hotel facilities and entertainment options, greeting and providing menus to customers (without taking orders or serving), maintaining cleanliness of pool area and equipment, including leaning over and wiping down tables, picking up towels, moving chairs, picking up trash or litter with a trash picker, squeegeeing pool area if there is excess water on the deck, stacking chairs at the end of shifts, closing cabanas, and storing games in the garage. Pool Attendants will also be responsible for providing information about facilities rules and regulations, maintaining inventory of equipment/linens, assembling and disassembling chairs and cabanas as necessary, and storing and retrieving items such as towels, towel bins, water toys, floaties, sunscreen, and amenity cups. If weather is windy or rainy, Pool Attendants will also be responsible for stacking chairs, closing umbrellas, and storing away water stations. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm or 11:00am - 7:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
Special Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
