Job description
Perform a variety of food preparation duties other than cooking, such as preparing cold foods and shellfish, slicing fish. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware. Assist cooks and chefs with various tasks as needed, and provide cooks with needed items. Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items according to safety standards. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies, and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor. Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
