Job description
General cow/calf operation (excluding calving). Duties may include but are not limited to assisting with bovine embryo transplant, attending to cattle i.e. feeding, sorting, giving shots. Ranch maintenance including mowing, inspecting and repairing building, feed areas, fences, etc. Power washing interior of barn after cow flush work. May maintain records on cattle, examine cattle to detect diseases or injuries, administer medications, vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate.
Special Requirements
Valid driver's license, employment reference, 6 months experience in a beef/dairy operation and mechanical experience, general knowledge of a cow/calf operation
