Laundry Attendant

Job description

Laundry Attendants will be responsible for receiving and documenting all laundry for billing purposes, loading and operating washers and dryers, pressing clean linens, machine washing bed sheets as requested, picking up dirty linens and dropping off clean linens in designated departments at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club’s property. Laundry Attendants will machine wash employee uniforms when a worker’s employment ends to ensure it is clean for the next employee assigned to the uniform. Additionally, Laundry Attendants are responsible for ensuring that all laundry facilities, including laundry workstations, machines, and storage spaces are kept clean by removing any trash or debris, wiping hard surfaces down with cleaning spray, as well as sweeping and mopping floors. Laundry Attendants will also be responsible for reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Must have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am - 2:00pm, or 8:00am - 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
