Job description

Job duties included but are not limited to:
Feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals.
Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries.
Assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides.
Maintaining winter animal treatment areas.
Ongoing maintenance includes cleaning, maintaining and repair of equipment, various workshop tasks as well as maintenance of grain bins, general buildings, and fences.
Use of various farm and cattle-specific farming equipment.
Drive farm trucks, tractors, and other farming equipment to distribute food to cattle.
Maintaining records, as required by the various relevant entities, clients and inhouse management.

Special Requirements

Minimum of three (3) months verifiable experience.
Workers must be able to obtain their drivers license within 30-90 days of hire.
Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
Most work is performed outdoors, and the North Dakota severe winter weather will expose workers to extreme cold temperatures and sever conditions like blizzards and snow.
No smoking allowed in farming equipment, farm buildings and house.
No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
All tools are provided by the employer.
