Job description
Will work with various chemicals including pool chemicals, concrete sealers and painting products. Includes working on ladders and scaffolding, use of power tools and equipment, as well as drive and safely operate company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall and various texturing using tools such as hammers, painting equipment, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. Electrical: HVAC - Understands electrical systems and HVAC systems to perform troubleshooting, service, and repair of pumps, condensers, motors, lighting and 3 phase electrical panels and circuits. Plumbing: Install faucets, seats, drain seals. Remove/install toilets, auto flushers. Troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, lack of water and effect repairs. Carpentry: Understand woodworking and carpentry techniques and repair processes to work on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs and doors to maintain operability and repair any damage. Perform drywall repair and painting interiors and exteriors walls, doors, and fixtures when needed. Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal and ground care including the upkeep and care of outdoor areas, ensuring they are kept clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. This includes mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, maintaining landscapes, and managing outdoor spaces to preserve their value and functionality.
Special Requirements
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to perform heavy lifting (50+ pounds) and strenuous work. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, swing and graveyard shifts. Background checks are completed in new hire or rehire onboarding with Human Resources. Drug screening is completed randomly, if there is a worksite injury, or if there is damage to Deer Valley property that is more than $150.
On-the-Job Training provided.
Multiple shifts with times between 6 AM and 11 PM, including weekends and holidays.
Hourly Wage: $23.81-$39.00 per hour (based on merit and past experience with our company)
Overtime may be available at $35.72-$58.50 per hour.
Deer Valley offers pay raises based on performance and merit. Each employee receives a performance review at the end of each season, based on these reviews employees will receive a merit from 0% - 5% for the start of the next winter season. Employee's may receive spot raises based on their performance.
