Job description
Cultivate wheat and gather it for feed, which involves operating tractors. Employees will cut grass, apply herbicides, and maintain agricultural machinery, which includes overseeing fuel and oil levels, as well as ensuring that barns and work areas are tidy. They will also be responsible for upkeeping the fence line and repairing it as necessary.
Additionally, workers will perform various duties related to livestock management in open pastures, such as supplying feed and water, guiding animals to grazing areas, and monitoring them for any signs of illness or injury.
Moreover, they will help with the vaccination process by moving cattle into pens or stalls and physically restraining them when required.
Other responsibilities consist of observing cattle for any signs of disease or health issues, administering medication for wounds, applying insecticides to livestock, assisting with castration, conducting semen evaluations, and marking animals with identification notches or brands.
In preparation for the Spring sale, workers will clean the cattle for photographs and videos.

The employer may request additional work hours based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
