Job description
CDL truck drivers will transport corn, grain, and other seed crops produced by the employer to local retail locations. Responsibilities include loading products into trucks, transporting them to designated locations, and unloading upon delivery. Drivers are responsible for conducting daily safety checks, performing basic maintenance and general upkeep of trucks, and following all applicable DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Special Requirements
High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
Must hold and maintain a valid Class A CDL (or equivalent), or be able to obtain a valid CDL within one month of employment,
with a clean driving record.
Must comply with all applicable USDOT regulations and pass a post-employment road test to evaluate driving ability.
Employer will uniformly conduct, at no cost to the worker, a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle
record check.
Workers with a clean MVR and an insurable drivers license may be asked to operate company vehicles or transport other
workers.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. for 75 yards.
Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable.
The employer reserves the right to conduct a background check post-hire at the employers expense IF the employer deems it necessary.
