Job description
Workers will perform commercial and residential maintenance including fall/winter storm cleanup, shovel and throw snow. Chip ice, spread salt, apply salt treatments to pavement and walks. Snow/ice equipment maintenance. Use hand tools and equipment such as snow shovel, snow thrower, salt spreader, and ice chippers. Workers may assist with the installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units when not engaged in snow removal activities. Entry level; requires supervision.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid post-hire random and upon suspicion of use drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Post-hire background checks and/or employment eligibility (e-Verify) check may be required of foreign and domestic workers based on contract requirements. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
