Job description
Seasonal from 11/15/25 to 03/01/26. Entry level, no experience required, work under close supervision; using trimming tools from ground, cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to maintain right of way for roads sidewalks, or utilities, or to improve appearance, health, and value of tree. Prune or treat trees or shrubs using hand saw, hand pruners, clippers, and power pruners. May assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment used each day. Trim, top, and or reshape trees to achieve attractive shapes or to remove low-hanging branches. Load debris and refuse onto trucks and haul it away for disposal. Trim jagged stumps, using saws or pruning shears. Clear sites, streets, and grounds of woody and herbaceous materials, such as tree stumps and fallen trees and limbs. Operate grounds maintenance equipment. May drive trucks or other company vehicles at work sites.
Special Requirements
Post-employment, workers are subject to drug testing and background checks, at no cost to the worker. The job requires the applicant to be qualified, ready, willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment at all the designated worksites; and to follow workplace rules.
Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extended hours and/or work on Saturdays and/or Sundays may be offered.
