Job description

Field Preparation and Planting: Operating tractors, plows, and other machinery to prepare soil for planting. Planting crops by hand or using mechanical planters, ensuring correct spacing and depth.

Crop Management: Watering, fertilizing, and applying pesticides or herbicides as necessary.

Harvesting and Processing: Operating machinery or performing manual labor to harvest crops. Sorting, grading, packing, and preparing crops for market or storage. Loading harvested crops onto trucks or trailers.

Irrigation Maintenance: Setting up, operating, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure crops receive adequate water.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operating farm equipment such as tractors, combines, sprayers, etc. Performing regular maintenance and repairs on machinery.

General Farm Upkeep: Repairing fences, maintaining sheds, storage areas, and other farm structures. Mowing and removing debris, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining safety standards on the farm.

Additional Responsibilities: The Subcontractors may be assigned other tasks as necessary that are directly or indirectly related to the operation, upkeep, and management of the farm. This can include any duties deemed essential by the Employer to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the farm.
