Job description
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Use hand tools such as shovels, scoops, brooms for duties such as scooping grain, turning levers and knobs to dry grain, sweep with hand broom; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or under filling to be delivered to market; Repair and service farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Repair and maintain structures like farm roads and ditches; Treat seed; Must be able to work in dusty conditions; Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment. Must speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
