Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Feeding cattle, Weaning, Working and vaccinating cattle. Maintaining feeding equipment. Inspect livestock for illness or injuries. Maintaining winter fences. Maintaining winter stock water systems. Vaccinating and doctoring cattle. Shipping cattle to market. Calving heifers. Cleaning calving barns. Branding cattle. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
