Job description
Workers will operate and drive farm machinery to cut, rake, bale, and stack hay, as well as to mix and distribute feed for
cattle. Duties include the daily care and management of livestock, such as feeding, watering, herding, and monitoring the
health and well-being of animals. General farm labor is required, including servicing, lubricating, and performing minor
repairs on equipment and vehicles to maintain safe and efficient operations. Workers will drive trucks and tractors to haul,
load, and deliver hay, feed, and cattle between fields, storage areas, and feeding sites. Additional tasks include cleaning
barns, corrals, and equipment, fencing repair, and other manual labor necessary for the proper upkeep of the farm.
Employees must follow all safety instructions and comply with federal and state regulations regarding equipment use,
transportation, work hours, and rest periods. Work requires repetitive lifting, bending, and outdoor labor in varying weather
conditions. Employment may be terminated for cause, including repeated absenteeism, violation of safety rules, misconduct,
insubordination, substance abuse, or failure to meet job performance standards. Workers must be willing to perform all
assigned duties as directed to ensure proper care of livestock and efficient farm operations.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme
temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other
benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
