Job description

Tools and Materials Used:
No special tools are required for the position. The workers will use the following materials: 1 lb bags of product, larger boxes, tape (for machine or hand taping), bigger boxes (as needed), pallets (as needed), and wrapping material for pallets.

Specific Steps to Perform the Duties:
Workers package 1 lb bags of chemicals into larger boxes. Those boxes are then taped using a tape machine or hand taper. The taped boxes are either placed into a bigger box or stacked onto a pallet and wrapped in preparation for shipping.

Chemicals and Protective/Safety Equipment:
The chemicals may be both hazardous and non-hazardous. Per OSHA, no respirator equipment is required, but face mask respirators are provided if an employee wants one. All PPE is offered, including gloves, sleeves, and protective lenses.
