Job Duties – Description of Services or Labor to be Performed

The worker will be required to perform a variety of seasonal agricultural tasks necessary to prepare Ryan S Howatt Farms for the upcoming planting season. Duties will include:

Performing shop and maintenance work on farm equipment, including tractors, trucks, and other machinery.

Repairing, servicing, and ensuring proper operation of farm implements and vehicles.

Preparing and calibrating equipment for spring fieldwork.

Cleaning and maintaining farm structures, tools, and storage areas.

Hauling grain bins empty in preparation for summer use.

General upkeep of the farmyard, shop, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The duties require knowledge of farm equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to work in varying winter weather conditions. Work is full-time, and hours may vary depending on weather and workload demands.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months of recent and verifiable experience in the listed job duties is required. The worker must be able to obtain an
appropriate non-CDL drivers license after hire and maintain a clean driving record. Workers must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Upon hire,
workers may be required to undergo random drug testing at no cost to them. A positive test result for illegal or controlled substances,
or failure to comply, may result in immediate termination of employment.
