Farmworker Laborer Crop

Job description

Planting and transplanting of Pleasant View Gardens grown annuals, perennials, and shrubs on automated sticking robot line. Fulfill supplies of plant cuttings, plugs, plug trays, and soil to automated planting line and machines for propagation.
Run cuttings planters and adjust computer/machine planting rate for quality transplanting. Fix and replace poor quality plants in automated robot sticking line. Print and apply labels to each tray upon completion of trays.
Dispatch cuttings planter line trays from robot line 1,2 and 3 and propagation line to greenhouses. Daily cleanup of tools and work area. Use the following hand cutters, spray bottles, cages, carts, fixing forks, spatulas, electric carts and conveyors. Some workers may be required to work second shift; from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Tenure Pay scale: this is the additional hourly pay for returning workers based on how many years they've worked at our company:
1 year: $ .51
2 years $ 1.01
3 years $ 1.51
4 years $ 2.01
5 years $ 2.51

Driver’s license helpful but not required. One (1) month experience required in work listed.
