Job description

AEWR; US Workers: OK: $11.27; H2A Workers: OK: $10.05.

Worker will assist in the caring of parakeets; checking on health and vigor of parakeets, repairing and maintenance of feed, watering equipment and sanitizing; assisting in bird pairing, sexing, and color-genetic matching; bird grading for shipment, assisting in preparing for loading out birds for market; production analysis and culling, assist in bedding birds; cage, building, nest cleaning and sanitizing; feed ration mixing; driving farm vehicle. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
