Job description

AEWR; US Workers: AL: $11.25; H2A Workers: AL: $10.05.

Unloading, washing, culling, sorting, packing, storing, loading of crops produced by our farm such as carrots; extensive sitting/standing at grader tables with moving conveyers to sort and pack crops; operating forklift to move boxes on pallets; daily cleaning and sanitation; preparing grading and packing lines for specific products and performing maintenance and cleaning of worksite in accordance with federal food and safety standards; loading crops onto trucks and operate field trucks to deliver product to market or storage facilities; weighing, guiding crops; perform duties for cooling produce in preparation for market such as reading a thermometer and touching crops by hand. Approximate staggered entry: 2 in December, 3 in January, 22 in February.

Special Requirements

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
