Job description
Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, catching, and loading animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Administer medications as appropriate; Haul livestock, feed/commodities from one location to another; Inspect, maintain, perform general maintenance on, and repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, equipment, yards, and fences; Clean the shop; Drive and control Case 290 pulling JBS applicator to spread manure to winter acres; No smoking on job or in houses. Must speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
