Job description
The agricultural carpentry workers will construct, assemble, and repair wooden farm structures such as barns, sheds, and similar structures. They will measure, cut, and shape lumber or other materials using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, hammers, levels, and measuring devices. Duties include repairing doors, windows, roofing, and irrigation supports, as well as sanding, staining, sealing, or painting structures for durability. Workers may also dismantle and safely dispose of old or damaged structures, maintain carpentry tools and equipment, and assist with general maintenance when carpentry work is not required.
Workers will be required to work on their feet, bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Special Requirements
The worker needs to be able to carry and lift a minimum of 50lbs. Additionally, the worker must be in good health to perform labor activities, with no limitation to bend down or carry weight (under regulated laws or norms of weight and safety procedures). Follow instructions correctly, as well as company rules.
