Job description

Provide accurate information regarding crop status and physical locations. Performs
manual agricultural labor in greenhouse environment including:
• Counting, evaluating, and documenting liners and finished plant material ready for
shipment
• Assessing live plant material losses and discarding product that no longer meets quality
standards
• Forecasting product readiness and tracking early/late material
• Performing physical counts of remaining saleable product at end of ship week
• identifying mislabeled or mixed varieties and assisting with start number and location
audits
• Assisting shipping with crop location inquiries, dock checks, and returns/overpulls
• Providing weekly space needs based on crop growth and staging
• Supporting crop care tasks including moving, spacing, organizing, and maintaining clean
work areas
• Communicating crop conditions to supervisors to support production quality
Will be using the following: Hand Cutters, Spray Bottles, Cages, Carts, Trolleys, Gloves,
Fixing Forks, Spatulas, Forklifts, Ladders, Brooms, pallet jacks, various pneumatic tools
and hand tools.
Tenure Pay scale: this is the additional hourly pay for returning workers based on how many
years they've worked at our company:
1 year: $ .51
2years $1.01
3 years $ 1.51
4 years $ 2.01
5years $2.51
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. 1 month experience in
farming, greenhouse, or general agriculture labor.

Special Requirements

Exposure to extreme temp, lifting 50 lbs, repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling,
extensive walking, frequent stooping.
