Regarding sell and serve food –Food and drink orders will be taken, sold, and served to customers at a concession stand window.
Regarding the food preparation functions:
Prepare simple daily food items and beverages-typical carnival foods such as corn dogs, french/curly fries, twinkies, snickers and cheesecake, specialty gourmet candies, cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cakes, prepare turkey legs and barbeque meets for the smoker, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time. Using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures operate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, deep-fat fryers, griddles, poppers, smokers, or hot plates. Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking using knives or slicers.

Regarding set up-stock/clean…tear down pack up stock and close down booth of food concessions and
attend and maintain equipment functions:
Following simple specified instructions: Set up-Stock the booth with food items and equipment according to a provided check list. Using basic cleaning supplies such as Dawn, Windex, Mr. Clean, sanitizer tablets and following proper safety precautions and sanitary measures ensure all items are cleaned and stored in a specified safe manner for transportation. Setup and take down tools include: ladder, hammers, screw drivers. All required tools are provided. Attend and Maintain equipment by following simple specified

Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement or recreation facility. Sell and collect tickets/fees, assist patrons; erect, take down, operate/attend amusement booths and maintain equipment; rides and games; make change; sell and serve food. Maintain inventories of equipment, storing/retrieving items and assembling/disassembling equipment as necessary. Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures. Prepare food such as corn dogs, french/curly fries, twinkies, snickers and cheesecake, specialty gourmet candies, cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cakes, prepare turkey legs and barbeque meets for the smoker. Set up - stock/clean and ready for service, tear down - pack up stock and close down booth, heavy lifting and physically mobile, operate amusement rides, games and concession booths.

Special Requirements

The job requires that the applicant be qualified, ready, willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment at the designated worksites under adverse weather; to enter into and comply with employment contracts; to follow workplace rules; and to meet job performance standards. Must comply with grooming requirements and dress code. Subject to discharge for cause. Must be willing to work up to 7days/wk. Post-employment/post-injury or incident and reasonable suspicion drug test required, cost paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, US and foreign/H2B.
